Clicking on the home button in Microsoft Edge by default shows the new tab page.
This can be changed to open websites instead whenever clicked.
Here is how:
Open Edge browser, and in the address bar, type in:
edge://settings
Then click on Start, home, and new tabs.
In the Home button section, instead of the New tab page option, click the website field and enter the URL that should open.
Click on the Save button for the changes to take place.
From now on, clicking the Edge home button will directly open the added URL instead of the default new tab page (which too can be customized by personalizing the suggested feed and adding a custom background image for new tab pages).
