OneDrive, by default, sends email notifications about photos and videos stored from the past days and years. This is the On this day notifications feature that is enabled by default.

If you don’t want to receive these notifications then they can be turned off.

Here is how:

Login to OneDrive and click on the gear icon from the top-right. Then click on Options.

Scroll down and select Notifications.

Under the section of Send me email when, remove the tick mark next to On this day memories are available. Click Save to apply these changes.

Also, by default, OneDrive organizes photos automatically based on different themes and tags them accordingly. So you can also turn off auto-tagging of the photos from here. Click on the Tagging option and select No.

Save the changes.

All done.
