God of War
The upcoming eighth installment of the popular action-adventure game series is a sequel to the 2010 edition with the name God of War II. Unlike the past installments that are based on the Greek mythology, the 2018 soft reboot will feature Norse mythology.
The storyline pretty much revolves around Kratos and his son, Atreus, who he serves as a mentor and protector. The gameplay has also drastically changed, from modifying the perspective to adding new in-game items and missions. The game was developed by Santa Monica Studio and is set to be released by Sony Interactive Entertainment on April 20 solely for the PlayStation 4 platform.
FIFA 18
The highly-acclaimed football simulation video game series is back at it again with a new and improved installment in FIFA 18. The 25th edition includes a continuation of FIFA 17’s story mode, entitled The Journey, besides the updated rosters and kits.
Aside from PlayStation 4, the game has also been also available on PlayStation 3, Xbox One and 360, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows platforms since September of last year. FIFA 18 is also considered by critics as one of the best 2 player PS4 games so far this year.
Spider-Man
Spider-Man is a new single-player action-adventure video game set to be released during the first half of the year by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game follows a new and unique storyline (not in any books and movies) of the both the Peter Parker and Spider-Man aspects of the protagonist.
For those who are a fan of the famous Marvel Comics hero, get ready to experience an exciting game filled with all the web-slinging, wall climbing, and parkour abilities in New York City.
Shadow of the Colossus
Shadow of the Colossus is one of the most highly anticipated video games of 2018 is dubbed by some critics as one of the best remakes so far. The action-adventure game will be released starting on February 6 in North America. It preserves the gameplay of the original 2005 version while enhancing the graphics, performance, and the use of the controls.
