Google Chrome can open PDF files. However, this feature can be turned off if needed.
Here is how :
In the address bar, type :
chrome://plugins
Alternatively :
about:plugins
This brings up the settings page for Chrome plugins.
Under Chrome PDF Viewer settings, click the “Disable” link.
From now on, Chrome won’t be able to open PDF documents.
All done.
