21 June 2010 was when ihaveapc.com was registered after brainstorming a few names. This name really stood out for us not just because it is simple to say but also because it describes the purpose of our site. 🙂

One year later and with 676 posts published, today 21 June 2011 marks our first anniversary of blogging and it has been an interesting one year to say the least. With initial site connectivity issues to changing the theme to moving the blog to a new web host, we did learn a lot and continue to do so.

By the way, the following PCs [ laptops, desktops and netbooks running Windows 7 / Ubuntu / Linux Mint ] have helped us in making our posts (alphabetical order of list of our beloved PCs):

We love giving kickass names to our machines :).

Also, to mark this anniversary, we are very pleased to announce the release of a free e-book on Linux shell scripting.
