YouTube by default doesn’t play HD videos in full screen mode.

Here is how to change that :

Login to YouTube and go to Settings by clicking on the account icon and choosing the gear icon or through this link.

From Account Settings, select Playback and tick the option next to “Always play HD on full screen when available”.

Save the changes.

Enjoy the full screen HD experience when watching YouTube videos from now on.
