I’ve only recently heard of Usenet. Since then I’ve tried a couple of times to access it but found that you (general) were required to have a paid account to do so. I’m presently unemployed and have been for almost a year and a half so purchasing anything that requires payments is illogical. I’ve wanted to acquire an account to access and utilize Usenet even since reading about it, and until finding ihaveapc.com and noticing it’s “Giveaway” section, never thought I’d be able to do so. I have no experince in using Binverse Usenet account, for most of my downloading needs I used to use Internet Download Manager.With Binverse Usenet account I beleive without installing any additional software I can download really fast and use the file quickly.Thanks for the giveaway.

I have always heard about Usenet but never tried it. Reasons being on the slowest internet speed you can imagine and I’m still a student. But, Now I have a better Internet connection and I’ve bought a few software already and I absolutely love, Key Scrambler. I used bin newsgroups back in 1995 – at university. It was great fun, on those old HP UX workstations. Version 7? 8? 9 maybe? It’s a long time ago, days I miss ; )
Afterwards I tried it a few times more, but always got annoyed.
File(s) missing, not found and A PAIN IN THE sunless spot to search. You need a seperate program, which I could never get as a warez version, so I just left it.
Once in a while, when I changed ISP’s, I’d try their (un)supported binary news for usenet. It never was a succes.
Without good searching facilities (where you can customize the groups to search in neet groups!!), I just preferred emule (long ago) and now torrents.
But I’d love to get back into the action. Laws in effect limit the torrent usage for software testers like me. I need to get back on the backbone!!! This offer would be JUST THAT – for I understand you support searching too?? And I think I will be finally able fo follow those pesky “Availabe on usenet”-links ;p

had wanted to use usenet for a long time – especially with all the benefits , looking forward to try out binverse .
I have tried a similar client in the past on usenet. My opinion is that it was easy to install, set up an account and start downloading files for testing or use on my projects. However, since I was on a trial account, speeds were capped and and I did not realise the true potential of the service. The user interface was easy to navigate and I had no problem finding what I needed. It also did not use up much system resources while in operation.
