Artha is a off-line thesaurus for Linux Mint/Ubuntu. It is similar to WordWeb, a free thesaurus available for Windows. Here’s how to install this handy program in Linux Mint:

1. Issue the following command at the terminal-

sudo apt-get install artha

2. After the installation is complete, click on ‘Menu>Accessories>Artha’ to launch the program.

3. When you run Artha for the first time, you’ll get a notification about the hot key (‘Ctrl+Alt+W’) combination and ‘notification’ feature of Artha. Click ‘OK’ to continue.

4. The application will start. Just type in your word and click ‘Search’.

When you close the application, it will be minimized to system tray. A single click will bring back the application window.
